Zimbabwe National Students Union (ZINASU) president Takudzwa Ngadziore has been released on a RTGS$5 000.
High court Judge, Justice Tawanda Chitapi handed the ruling on Ngadziore.
“We have secured RTGS$5 000 bail for @Zinasuzim leader @ngadziore who has been ordered by Justice Chitapi to report at Harare Central Police Station once in a fortnight on Fridays,” wrote the Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights (ZLHR) who are representing the Ngadziore.
Ngadziore has been in remand prison since his after arrest in March and is facing charges of convening and partaking in a gathering during the national lockdown period.
