I have seen all the insults and threats being directed to my sister @lilomatic (Linda Masarira) by the surrogates of the @USEmbZim in the CCC making it look like what she is saying is bullshit. Everything she said about the Embassy is true & l will add more, threats and bribes won’t stop me!

Going back to September 2018 after the defeat of the MDC A in a free and fair election, the US Embassy released over US $4,5 million that was given to some rogue elements in the CCC, NGOs and the G40 by Brian Nichols himself at a meeting that was held in Joburg South Africa.

Individuals like myself, Jonathan Moyo, Job Sikhala, Kasukuwere, Tatenda Mombeyarara, Nelson Chamisa, Rashid Mahiya, Walter Mzembi, Tendai Biti, Mako Haruzivishe, Promise Mkwananzi and many others were present at the meeting.

A delegation from the UK govt was also present.

With the help of the US Embassy, Vanguard Africa and Trust Africa, they managed to buy and smuggle guns into the country and the same guns were used during the January 2019 protests & so many people died. Govt should note that the same guns will be used again in future demos.

After losing the primary elections to represent MDC Alliance in the 2018 elections, Chidhakwa submitted his name as an independent candidate.

Chidhakwa lost the primary election to Job Sikhala who was then elected Zengeza West legislator in the 2018 elections.

On 4 September 2021, Simon Chidhakwa was among seven senior MDC Alliance officials who defected to Zanu PF.
