A Shamva man, Fred Zhakata has dragged a colleague, Charles Mate before Chief Bushu after he found him at night staring and admiring his wife whilst she was cooking outside.
The two had had an altercation before as Mate was having an extra marital affair with Zhakata’s wife.
Speaking during a court hearing, Zhakata accused Mate of following his wife around and sneaking into his yard.
“I saw him at around seven o’clock in the evening hstarring and admiring my wife while hiding himself. My wife and I we were outside cooking and chatting,” Zhakata said.
“When he noticed that I had recognized his face he ran away and I chased after him. But I could not catch up with him because I fell and he disappeared,” he said.
During the court hearing, Zhakata requested Chief Bushu to send away Mate from the community and bar him from returning as he had developed hatred for him which he said may one day be uncontrollable.
