A Madziva woman Memory Guveya has dragged her husband Levi Tashure to Chief Nyamaropaâs traditional court following ill-treatments she was facing in the hands of her husband.
Tashure appeared before Chief Nyamaropa facing charges of abusing his wife Guveya through sexual, physical and emotional abuse.
In an interview with Sly Media,Guveya said that she saw that it was a good idea for her to drag her husband to court before he killed her.
âThis man is so abusive I remember this other day he pushed me after I used the money, he gave me to buy food to purchase gas that I wanted to use in cooking.
âHe is someone who is short tempered I after I told him that I used the money to buy gas instead of food he slapped me even now if I thought of that slap it hurts me so badly inside.
âHe will beat me to an extent that I can spent more than 2 days sleeping failing to do anything around the house,â said Guveya.
She added that, her husband is giving her lame excuses after failing to provide enough sex to her.
âMy husband has two wives we are two and I guess he is giving her first wife enough sex and failing to satisfy me what is most disturbing is that he will keep giving me lame excuses that he is tired,âshe said.
Tashure disagreed that he was mistreating his wife he said that he loves his wife with all his heart and he is ready to do anything that will makes her happy.
ââI love my wife so much chief so I donât know what she is saying I care about her all I know is that fights are there we do fight but I love her.
âI married her because I wanted to spent the rest of my life with her so all these accusations levelled against me they are all fake I love my wife and my children, âhe said.
In giving his verdict Chief Nyamaropa instructed the husband to go with his wife to his in-lawâs place and spent the night there.
He also told the Tashure to handle over his cellphone to his wife to prove his love so that she will see all the messages and calls that he made in her absence.
