Highfield’s Old Canaan residents said there are living in fear of disease outbreak as litter garbage remains uncollected for months
The uncollected litter is now blocking roads and clogging pathways, causing water logs in some areas in Highfield.
Speaking to this publication, residents it the Harare City Council has not been collecting garbage and fear that they came be typhoid of cholera outbreak
“They (Harare City Council) come only once a month, sometimes even are two months and how it is done leaves a lot, they are not doing it a proper and professional manner,” one resident said.
