Tocky Vibes Drops An Album With 36 Songs

A 28 year-old- Zimbabwean Award winning-Zimdancehall artist, Obey Makamure well known as ‘Tocky Vibes’ recently released a new album ‘Chicken and Chama’ which 36 songs.

In an interview with Sly Media, Makamure said that he is excited because he has become the first Zimbabwean artist to release an album consisted of 36 songs.

“I am very happy with this album the most exciting thing is that I am the first person to drop that kind of an album with 36 songs ever since.

“The most exciting thing is that we have worked so hard in making this a success, this took too long but finally we came up with something at the end”.said Makamure.

He added that, what makes him very happy is the fact that his fans are supporting this new mix tape.

“I am excited with support that I am getting from my fans, they are really supportive they are supporting this new album I just want to thank my fans for supporting this new album.

“From day one when I released this new album people reacted in a positive way because they are shocked to witness an album with 36 songs which has never happened in this country.” he said.

He added that he is not sure about the time frame because it took so long to come up with such a unique album.

“I cannot comment on how long exactly does this took us to come up with this kind of an album but what I know is we have started this long time back.

“We used to do set aside some songs from the days I sang Mushenen’ene and from there we were just stocking them until we come up with this and some of the songs we did not include them in this mix tape.” he said.

“He said he is not in rush to release any album or singles anytime soon because people are still listening to Chicken and Chama a fresh album.

“We are not releasing any album or singles anytime soon because we are now focusing on pushing these 36 songs to our fans.” said Makamure.

His new album has the following songs which include Honde,Kete Pakete,Mambo,Mhosva Yangu,Hama Dzangu,Hwema ,Kutenda, Mango, Ndakavaudza, Chigero, Nzizi, Mhanya, Chama, Ndakadya Marasha, Kushaika Kwemwana, Menduru, Ndinobatika, Muchina, Two, Zita, Depression, Would you love me, Mhururu Nemuridzo, Tocky Pedza Bhora, Addiction, One, Tsuro Negwedzi, Tingashorane, Usaore Moyo, Panze, Zvinhu Zvacho, Sando Dzagu, Usambotya,T svigirai, Wageza, Work.
