Fans of the late Dr Oliver Mtukudzi who died on the 23 of January 2019 at the age of 66 after battling diabetes for a long time has remembered his death by posting comments on social media platforms remembering the time, they spent with him.
“On this day Dr Oliver Mtukudzi breathed his very last breath we miss you dearly Nzou,Continue to RIP my all-time hero, my superstar, my dad, my mentor ,your music and teachings will always touch and heal our hearts,”
wrote Garry Tight on his FB page.
“Four years ago on this day we lost a legend continue to rest in peace baba vedu our hero ndakaita rombo rakanaka ndakaimbawo song navo,” wrote Mathias Mhere.
“In this video essay l explain what it was like working with Dr Mtukudzi using exclusive backstage tour footage which I personally took with my own camera, this explains why I prefer to him as the best boss I’ve ever worked for continue to RIP Samanyanga,” posted Clive Mono Mukundu.
His family members could not forget this day as they went on to commemorate it on Facebook as they were sharing the memories, they shared with him.

Dr Oliver Mtukudzi has left a gap in the country and he was surely a legend and this made even radio stations to commemorates his life.
“The Superstar died at the age of 66 after a career that spanned four decades. what’s your favourite song from him,” wrote Radio Zimbabwe.
“Today Zimbabweans and the World at large remembers the legendary Dr Mtukudzi who passed away 4years ago. he passed away at the age of 66 leaving an amazing legacy and music catalogue,” posted Power FM Zimbabwe.
