The employer through the Ministry of Labour Public Service and Social Welfare issue statement that those teachers who would have not reported for duty by the 22nd February would have voluntarily resigned and other Unions and Associations encouraged their members to comply.

As ARTUZ we have made a court application, seeking to interdict barring PSC from instituting forced retirements to officials who are incapacitated through Mbidzo Muchadehama and Makoni Partners.

ARTUZ was compiling statistics and today’s figures how that the teachers remained vigilant demanding USD540 and space for collective bargaining as shown by the statistics

On average we have 80% teachers deep rooted in the trenches which shows that teachers demand are genuine more than the political gimmicking we are seeing being employed by government and the plastic unions and associations.

The statistics shows how some of the officials have succumbed to the threats from the employer since they know and understand the character of our government. The Union urges teachers to remain resolute as victory is now with insight.
