#Tajamuka Statement
Tajamuka notes with dismay the illegal and criminal seizure of communal land ownership from the people of Chilonga to the Dendiary Company and its criminal and corrupt associates within the illegitimate Mnangagwa government.
This seizure is not only callous and inhuman, it is also corrupt, illegal and unacceptable.
Tajamuka will join the people of Chilonga and all progressive forces in defending their land by any and all means necessary and urges all progressive forces to rally against this insensitive manoeuvre by selfish and anti-people elements of the regime.
In this regard, we urge citizens from all walks of life to join the fight for justice for the minority groups in Chilonga by:
Petitioning the government to stop immediately and unconditionally any attempts to evacuate the Chilonga people from their ancestral land.
Zimbabwe Lawyers for Human Rights and other human rights organisations to support litigation on behalf of the affected communities in Chilonga.
All progressive citizens to boycott Dendiary products with immediate effect and to name and shame all retrogressive citizens who will not heed the boycott call.
Join several online campaigns that have been started by various progressive forces to register our dismay against this criminal act.
To work with and support communal leaders and villagers in Chilonga to develop peaceful and non-violent strategies to resist and repel the invaders.
