The late Zimdancehall artist Soul Musaka popularly known as Soul Jah Love has been described by his family as a hero, who used music to motivate people.
In an interview with Sly Media TV, Soul Jah Love’s brother Tendai Musaka said the artist whose music was inspired by personal experiences was a tool to inspire others.
“Many people used to tell me that my brothef motivated them especially during hard times,” he said.”They said there were times they felt like surrendering given the challenges they faced in life but after listening to his’ (Soul Jah Love) music they were inspired to carry on.
” Soul Jah Love is irreplaceable as no one can match the tactics and metaphors he used in his music.”
Musaka said his favorite song from the Pamamonya Ipapo hit maker was Kana Ndafa which he said was a very emotional song.
Soul Jah Love who was diabetic passed away on Tuesday at Mbuya Dorcas Hospital in Harare.
Musaka said his brother had battled with diabetes since he was 17 years.
The late musician has since been declared a Liberation Hero.
