After reports that socialite Jackie Ngarande had threatened committing suicide last week, her publicist says she was on a road to recovery.
This comes after the socialite sought professional help.
“Currently Miss Ngarande is seeking professional care where she is being treated for depression, anxiety and also attending grief and loss therapy classes.”
The statement partly read, “Miss Ngarande would like to thank you heartily for the support you have given her through prayer, words of encouragement, visits, phone calls, text messages and the flowers that brighten up her days,” said the publicist.
Jackie recently broke down on her social media platform following cyber bullying and things she called struggles in her personal life.
