Tanzanian giants, Simba SC are reportedly chasing the signature of highly rated Zimbabwe international striker, Prince Dube, media reports indicate.
Simba SC’s interest comes at a time the 24-year-old forward has proved to be an indomitable striker in the Tanzanian top flight league.
Dube is leading the race for the Golden Boot in the Vodacom Premier League with 12 goals after playing 28 games.
However, Simba might lose on roping Mgadafi’s signature as reports indicate Azam FC have offered the unstoppable striker an irresistible improved contract that might see him stay with Wana Ramba Ramba (Azam).
“The club are prepared to quadruple his wages, due to his performances in his first season in Tanzania,” a source told The Chronicle Newspaper.
“They have dangled a huge package which was difficult to resist.”
Meanwhile, the former Highlanders FC striker’s brace in a Tanzanian FA Cup match, yesterday, gave Azam a comfortable 2-1 victory over Polisi Tanzania.
