Five-time Ballon d’Or winner, Cristiano Ronaldo has instructed his agent, Jorge Mendes to start working on sealing a deal that could result in the forward moving back to Real Madrid this summer, media reports indicate.

Ronaldo joined Juventus in 2018 on a four-year contract worth ÂŁ100 million.

The reason the Old Lady signed him was to win the UEFA Champions League, however since his arrival the team has failed to surpass the round of 16 stage.

This resulted in a lot of criticism from the Juventus fans and former players.

The criticism seems to have frustrated the former Manchester United man, who still had 15 months left on his contract.

Reports indicate Ronaldo was ready to end his two and a half marriage with the Italian giants.

According to Eurosport, the 36-year-old Portuguese tasked his agent, Mendes, to seal the deal this summer.

Reports said there was a possibility a deal between the two parties might come through since Juve were keen not to lose the UEFA all time goal scorer for nothing next year.

Rumours on Ronaldo’s possible return to Madrid were also confirmed by his former coach Zinedine Zidane who on Tuesday before the three-time UEFA Champions League winners’ clash with Atalanta in Italy, hinted on a possible re-union with the ageing striker.

He confirmed to the media that the speculation about Ronaldo’ return to Los Blancos were true.
