Popular self-styled prophet and social media enthusiast Passion Java got a rude awakening when he
in the company of Former President Robert Mugabe’s son Robert Jr visited Africa University in
Mutare when students demanded him to leave.
Students shouted at the top of their voices ordering the self-proclaimed prophet to leave.
He had to be escorted by security personnel at the institution of higher learning.
The socialite is used to have crowds around him chanting his name in every city he visits.
Students shot videos of the man of the cloth being humiliated as did not want anything to do with
him.
What began as a smooth going day quickly became punctuated by chaos as Java tried to endear
himself with the students.
“Go get your car cleaned, we don’t care that you are famous this is not UZ (University of
Zimbabwe). We will not hype you at this school, leave!” called out some of the students.
Java became famous on social media after posting videos claiming to be rich.
Lately, he is known for rubbing shoulders with some of the country’s rich, and famous and angling
himself closer to President Mnangagwa.
