Now we have two Chinese COVID-19 vaccines certified by WHO (Sinopharm – 7 May 2021 and Sinovac 1 June 2021)
The European and US controlled WHO took its sweet time to approve these excellent vaccines. How do you belatedly ‘approve’ a product that has already been working and has effectively addressed the COVID-19 challenge for China and many other countries?
What is the meaning of the WHO vaccine approval anyway?
Who needs WHO vaccine approval? (pun intended)
To dramatize the meaningless of WHO approvals consider the following; of all the COVID-19 vaccines on the market, the Russian Sputnik V is the most efficacious and and safe vaccine by every measure.
Guess what, WHO has not approved this outstanding Russian vaccine!
Of course, the Chinese and Russians are also hesitant to submit all their IP and Industrial secrets to the WHO, which assets might be stolen by the thieving Westerners, who control WHO.
Africans must not wait for WHO approvals.
SA is a big victim of this naivety of taking WHO approvals as gospel. They have ignored Chinese and Russian vaccines to the detriment of their COVID-19 vaccination program.
Zimbabwe and other African countries must be applauded for being strategic and not naive.
Now, we have South Africans skipping into Zimbabwe to get vaccinated.
Yet, SA is the most industrialized country on the continent.
