Mnangagwa Tours Chill Spot Recordz

President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s son Emmerson Junior Wednesday visited Zimdancehall studio Chill Spot Recordz located in Mbare’s high density surbub.

The recording company is owned by Anorld DJ Fantan Kamudyariwa, Rodger Tafadzwa Levelz Kadzimwe and Tafadzwa DJ Ribhe Mandaza.

Posting on their Facebook page, Chill Spot Recordz wrote, “Emmerson Mnangagwa Jnr visited Mangoma depot ‘ghetto buddies’.


“Such a humbling experience, we never thought we would ever be visited by the First son.
“Thank you so much.
“Tadzidza zvakawanda.”


The recording company which has been dubbed the Zimdancehall hub has produced hits for artists including Freeman, Winky D, Seh Calaz, Shinsoman and the late Soul Jah Love.


Earlier this year the founders of the recording company were arrested after they organised a bash at Matapi Flats in Mbare were some 22 local artists reportedly performed for an audience of 2000.


They pleaded guilty for breaching Covid-19 regulations through organising the unsanctioned bash.
