On 06/09/21 Police in Harare arrested Mike Chimombe (40), Kudakwashe Chigodo (31) and Bruce Moyo (35) for violating Covid-19 regulations after they hosted a public gathering of 300 people from 2100 hours on 04/09/21 to 0330 hours on 05/09/2
At number 16 Stonechat Lane, Greystone Park, Borrowdale.
On 5/09/21, three people were killed on the spot while three others were seriously injured in a road traffic accident which occurred at 30 km peg along Mazowe –Centenary Road.
A Toyota Allion vehicle with five passengers on board which was travelling towards Mazowe, veered off the road, hit a rock and overturned before landing on its wheels.
Meanwhile, Police in Harare are investigating circumstances surrounding a hit and run road traffic accident involving a pedestrian which occurred on 6/09/21 along King George Road.
The victim sustained serious head injuries and broken legs. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police Station.
On 06/09/21 Police in Harare acted on a tip off and arrested Thomas Madzinga (20), Terrence Munyimi (25), Talent Mafaune (37), Tafadzwa Mabvunzi (26) and Vincent Kwende (25), along Plymouth Road in Mbare for theft of copper cables.

The ZRP has noted with concern media reports on the alleged illegal crossing “wooden bridge” in the Limpopo River in Beitbridge. Checks have indeed revealed that this is on SA side. The ZRP has since dispatched a team to engage our counterparts in the SAPS.
SAPS authorities have undertaken to dismantle the illegal crossing point. The two countries will ensure arrests are effected on anyone found to be responsible for construction of this illegal “bridge”.

On 05/09/21 Police in Filabusi arrested Tasekwa Kondo for murder which occurred at Theleka Business centre. The suspect was part of a mob which assaulted the victim to death after suspecting him of involvement in criminal acts

Police in Beatrice are investigating circumstances surrounding a murder case in which an unlawful entry into premises and theft suspect, Givemore Njanji (49) died on 03/09/21.
The victim was assaulted by a mob after he was caught stealing blankets and clothes at Ellis Baron Primary School on 27/08/21.
In a related case, Police in Harare are investigating a murder case in which an unlawful entry into premises suspect, Ali Mupatsi, died upon admission at Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals after he was assaulted by a mob on 5/09/21 in Whitecliff.
