Harare West legislator and MDC-A youth leader Joana Mamombe has been denied bail together with co-accused Cecilia Chimbiri.
The two were arrested after they addressing a press conference at the Harare magistrate’s court after attending human rights activist, Makomborero Haruzivishe who is in police custody for kidnapping’s court hearing.
In denying bail for the two, Magistrate Vongai Muchuchuti-Guuriro said, “If released on bail the duo is likely to commit further offences.”
