Man Spends 10 Years In Prison And Returns To Rape The Same Woman Who Had Him Imprisoned

A Botswana man has found himself returning to prison after committing the same offence that landed him in prison in the first place.

As if that is not enough, his case is full of twists and turns.

The rapist, 41-year-old Makhujwana Babolokeng of Mapitse village allegedly forced himself on the 63-year-old woman he had previously served a 10-year prison sentence for.

It seems as though his release from prison gave him the courage to go back for the same old woman.

Babolokeng’s father, Topo, is also an ex-convict who served a 16-year murder sentence for killing the husband of the woman who has now seemingly become a target for Babolokeng.

It is alleged that on the night of the rape incident, Babolokeng was having his drinks close to were the old lady was also drinking her booze.

When it was getting late, the owner of the tavern offered the lady a backroom to sleep in as she was too drunk to return home.

But Babolokeng’s beady eyes were watching. Later on in the night, it is alleged that he forcefully entered the womans room and raped her.

Even though he denied that he had raped the woman, he was denied bail and he will appear in court again on 14 February 2022.
