A Madziva man Sean Fiyanda was dragged to Chief Nyamaropa’s traditional court by Givemore Mudziri after attacking him at a beer-hall and after having an altercation over beer.

It is alleged that on the 1st of January 2023 Fiyanda and Mudziri were drinking beer at the same bar in Madziva and Fiyanda started attacking Mudziri leaving his teeth shaking.
In an interview with Sly Media,Mudziri said that Fiyanda bashed him for purchasing another beer for his friends.
“It was on New Year when my friends and l we were enjoying ourselves whilst drinking beer so I went inside the bar that is where Fiyanda and his friends were and he started attacking me.
“I asked why he was attacking me but he could not answer it clearly then I told him that we should go outside and settle our dispute if there are any so we went outside and we fought but he damaged my front teeth,” he said.
Mudziri added that he brought this issue to Chief Nyamaropa because Fiyanda did not listen to the police officers who told him to provide money for his teeth.
“I come here because I saw that Fiyanda is very ignorant since the police officers told him to provide money for my two teeth that he damaged so that I will be well but he refused,”said Mudziri.
He said that he went to Bindura General Hospital for treatment but the doctor said that they cannot commence their work without the same of $142 he returned because he does not have that amount.
“I went to Bindura Hospital for treatment but the Doctors refused to treat me saying that they need the sum of $142 so had to track back home since had no money.
“I made an effort to go and tell Fiyanda but he told me that he does not have money and he gave me only $20 and told me that he had a similar case before and the amount could not reach that far so all I need is that he must give me the money for my teeth,” he said.
Fiyanda told the court that he cannot pay that amount since he knows where cheap doctors are who can help Mudziri at a cheapest price.
“I am not going to give him such amount because I have been in the same situation long time back and the Doctor who helped me did not ask for such amount.
“What I can do is I will take him to that doctor who will do the work at a lowest amount not $142 I cannot afford it.
In giving his verdict Chief Nyamaropa said that Mudziri must not be given the money he might squander it all without going for the treatment so he said that he will direct Fiyanda and Mudziri to one of the Dentist in Bindura who will help in teeth replacement.
