Comedian cum musician Felistas Murata known as Mai Titi who recently landed a role in a Tanzanian movie has been sacked by the producer Billy Jeremiah Brown.

Brown announced the development on the production company’s social media page and said Mai Titi’s behavior both on and offset was unacceptable.

“It’s sad to announce that we had to terminate Mai Titi’s role and replace her with Angel Mary Kato due to lack of professionalism onset and whilst living with other celebrities as well as the crew.”

Brown said that it was not about her nationality but rather her character that pushed them to take this decision.

“We love Zimbabwe that’s why we picked someone from Zimbabwe unfortunately we could not continue with her,” he said.

In response to the said accusations, Mai Titi hinted she had left as she was not being paid and the company was taking advantage of her.

“We go where we get paid not used and taken advantage of because at the end of the day we have got kids to take care of,” said Mai Titi.

“We are artists, we deserve better, where we are used we shift,” she said.

Mai Titi was set to act in a Tanzanian movie which is being shot in Tanzania titled Life To Regret were she was acting as an evil step mother.

The movie also stars Congolese Rhumba artist Awilo Longoma.

Meanwhile BJB Films have deleted their post from Facebook after they received a backlash fromĀ  supporters.
