Villagers in and around Madziva area have applauded Chief Nyamaropa (Munyaradzi Tivange) for being a good and equal leader who has no bias when giving people judgements during court hearings.
In an interview with Sly Media in Madziva, married women hailed Chief Nyamaropa for giving them a fair judgement since they were living in hell in the hands of their abusive husbands.
“As for me I was satisfied with the judgement that I was given by chief today that I should go and pick up my things and leave my abusive husband because I might die at his house, he does not buy food even taking care of his child,” said Coleen Matibvira.
“I am pleased with the judgement because my husband since day one did not come here for us to get help from Chief so I have come a conclusion that he did not love me so the judgement that I am supposed to go and get my things and return back to my parents’ house was very good and fair,” said one woman.
Another resident added that, he is excited with the way Chief Nyamaropa his gave judgments because he is a fair leader.
“I am happy with this judgement because it has cooled my body, I was very very angry with this man who took away my wife but now after he was charged there goats I feel that was fair enough.
“I have peace of mind now because before we come here this man used to make me feel so bad but now l had seen that only Chief Nayamaropa can give you peace of mind,” said Cryson Makanda.
“I am excited with the judgement I received the last time I was here because me and my husband we are now good after he was told that he should take care of the family before we come back here but now, we are happy,” said Juliet Gatsi.
Parents also expressed their satisfaction with the way Chief Nyamaropa rule in the area.
“I am happy as a parent because chief does not like people who ill-treat others so he is very good at giving judgement so as to give people peace of mind and freedom.
“Chief Nyamaropa is someone who does not like to separate couples before finding a good reason to do so and I just love that from him,” said one woman who refused to be mentioned.
