Popular social media personality cum comedienne Tyra Chikocho known as Madam Boss has won the African Social Entertainment Awards (ASEA) 2021 for best actress.




This award comes hot on the heels of yet another award, the E! African Social Star of 2021, she recently won.




ASE Awards were founded in 2018 by South African OGD Entertainment and seeks to celebrate the lifestyle and social entertainment of Africans.



ASE Awards aim to give appreciation to the ever-growing social media industry and to give a factual presentation of Africans lifestyle to other continents.



Other nominees Madam Boss edged to win the award were Tebogo Thobejane, Nelisiwe Sibiya, Candice Modisille and Letoya Makhene.




Fellow Zimbabweans who were also shortlisted for the awards include singers Rocqui, Nutty O and Nox Guni for Best Music Video, Nutty O ft Poptain (Kokai) and Rocqui ft Koffi Olomide (Patati Patata) for Best Song Collaboration, Zim Celebs for Blog of the year and Kae Chaps (Juzi) and Nutty O (Kokai) for Song of the Year.




Madam Boss posted the development on her Facebook page with fans congratulating the star.
