England and Manchester United defender, Luke Shaw has praised Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s style of management, indicating it is the reason behind his best performance as a left-back at Manchester United this season.
The left-back also impressed England national team coach Gareth Southgate who recalled him into the squad after spending a long period without being selected.
Shaw scooped the February player of the month award at Manchester United, after a sterling performance.
Reports indicate the 25-year-old has created more chances than any other defender in the Premier League this season and has netted three goals
This is his best performance since arriving at Old Trafford in 2014.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Shaw said Ole relieves pressure from the players and allowed them to perform their best on the pitch.
“His man-management is second to none,” Shaw told Sky Sports.
“The way he conducts himself in terms of how he speaks to the players, it gets the best out of them.”
