Kaizer Chiefs forward Khama Billiat continue to be out of action as his club face off Simba SC in the second leg of the CAF Champions League quarter final.
The fixture is set to be played at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium Saturday.
Billiat has been left out of the official Gavin Hunt’s 23-man squad that travelled to Tanzania, Thursday.
His omission comes after he sustained a leg injury which saw him leave the stadium in crutches when Chiefs played Sundowns in a DSTV Premiership encounter in April.
Speaking to Sly Media News, the former Ajax and Mamelodi Sundowns talisman’s manager, Godfrey Bakasa said he is not sure about Billiat’s return.
“I have no information about his return but as soon as there is any news i will update,” he said.
Amakhosi could historically qualify to the next stage (semi-final) of this prestigious tournament as they visit Wekundu wa Msimbazi (Simba) with a huge advantage.
They thrashed the Tanzanian giants 4-0 at the FNB Stadium in South Africa, last week, thanks to goals from Eric Mathoho, Leonardo Castro and Samir Nurkovic’s brace.
