Contemporary Zimdancehall artist Nicodemus Mutize known as Jah Signal has clinched a deal with Old Mutual.
The Swaaa Family leader confirmed the development on his Facebook page.
“Thank God I am super excited to have been chosen to work with @oldmutual_zw on their #termsureplan,” he said.
The deal with Old Mutual is not the artist’s first as Jah Signal was a brand ambassador in 2016 for Premier Plus Mahewu a company which produces traditional Zimbabwean beverages (Mahewu).
Jah Signal services have been the most sort after by over twenty two corporate companies in the country with some organisations such as Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority (ZimParks), Zimbabwe Population-based HIV Impact Assessment (ZIMPHIA) and Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission & Distribution Company (ZETDC) conveying him the ambassador role.
In 2018 his song Tisvike Kumusoro was chosen as the theme song for the 2018 OK Grand Challenge an annual jackpot promotion organised by OK Zimbabwe which owns supermarkets across the country.
Fellow artists and fans have applauded Jah Signal for his recent appointment.
Fellow musician Mukudzei Mukombe known as Jah Prayzah posted, “Sigi Sigi well done my brother.”
Minister Gawa posted, “Congrats Ambassador Siggy we are happy and proud of you.”
“Wish you the best of luck with your ambassadorial role.”
Nokuthula Hlongwana wrote, “Congrats Sigi wekwaSwaa all the best… Nekujamba kwako Signal haushandire mahara.”
Silence Waripo Mutsamwira commented, “Hard work pays…. Sigi unoti nekujamba kwese kuya zvongopera zvakadaro.”
Anesu Liz Chineka wrote, “Congratulations Jah Signal many thanks to the Almighty who is opening doors. May He keep preparing a table for you.”
