United States based Caroline Makamache who is married to Utakataka Express leader Peter Moyo has warned people against giving the couple unsolicited advice.
Moyo and Makamache who got customarily married last year in July have been are in a long distance relationship as the pint sized musician is based in Zimbabwe.
Posting on her Facebook page, Makamache said, “If you get the sudden urge to tell me and Peter kuti tichigara tese or ndiuye ku Zimbabwe kindly remove yourself from my friend list coz ndakublocka those comments.”
“Imimi makazvitarisa munoti isusu vari mu relationship yacho hatigone kufunga tega here.
“Takazoita zvituta last number to the level yekutadza kuziva zvatinoda ku prioritiser manje.
“Ndoenda kupi tisati tapedza kuvaka.”
Moyo affectionately known as Dhewa in the music circles replied to the post in support of his wife’s sentiments.
He commented, “Hanziiko nevanhu vakapedza kuronga life yavo vanoswera ku Dubai for ma holidays vakuda kutirongera hupenyu hwedu.”
Also responding to the post, urban groovers pioneer Enock Nox Guni’s wife Tallyn Ndudzo concurred with Makamache that people should not tell people what to do in their marriages.
“Bvunzawo vanoita kunge ndovakakusanganisai vanhu heee chigarai mese heee chiitai vana heee marriage ye fake heee haadiwe heee gold digger heee uyu akuda mapaper heee chakati zvino tikaita zvavanoda ivo panguva yavanoda ichiri life yedu here,” said Ndudzo.
Another Facebook user Brian Bhubhu Nyamushamba commented, “There is a whole line between being a friend and overstepping the boundaries of your constituency.”
“Where do people get the audacity to actually ask those questions and want to know that information.
“It is so disrespectful.”
Makamache and Moyo who met at OR Tambo Airport in South Africa dated for one year and three months before Moyo paid lobola in July 2020.
