Fuel Prices Up

The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority has reviewed upwards the price of fuel with effect from April 5.

According to the authority Petrol Blend (E10) now costs ZWL$104.82 or US$1.26 per litre up from US$1.21 or ZWL$99.35.

Diesel (D50) now costs ZWL$105.58 for a litre or US$1.27 for the same up from US$1.23 or ZWL$100.91.

As is the norm, operators are still allowed to sell fuel below the cap depending on their trading advantages.

Diesel will now be sold at $117, 77 (US1.32) per litre, while petrol will be $112, 96 (US1.34) per litre.
