The country’s football family has poured condolences messages following the death of Triangle United goalkeeper Ronald Mudimu (33) who died Sunday night at a local hospital.
The club confirmed Mudimu’s death on their social media platforms.
However, the cause of his death has not been confirmed yet though reports indicate that he suffered a stroke last month resulting in him being admitted in hospital till he passed on yesterday.
“Really sad to learn the passing of @triangle_tufc goalkeeper Ronald Mudimu.

“May his soul rest in peace,” Ngezi Platinum Stars twitted.
Chicken Inn tweeted, “Rest Easy Ronald Mudimu.
May your family and everyone at Triangle find comfort.”

“RIP my bro, till we meet again,” former Monomutapa United striker More Moyo posted on Twitter.
Mudimu was a seasoned goalkeeper and also a vice captain at Triangle United.
He once helped the Sugar Boys to lift the One Wallet Cup and the Chibuku Super Cup trophy.
