Dube The Poet’s Social Media Reach Increases

Poet Obert Dube has thanked his fans for the continued support as evidenced by the increase of followers on his social media platforms.


The poet’s Facebook page following has reached 70 000.



Posting on his Facebook page, Dube said his wish was to reach 100 000 followers in two weeks.





“Words cannot describe how happy I am, I have no one to thank apart from everyone who follows me on my all social media platforms,” posted Dube.



He thanked his fans for their support and asked them to continue with their unconditional love and support.





“My target is 100k in 2weeks, it’s doable I’m pleading to you all to invite at least a minimum of 10 of your Facebook friends to like this page…”




The poet has performed locally and in neighboring countries including South Africa and Botswana.





Dube has also toured countries including Chile, Argentina and Zambia. Dube has six poetry albums and other single poem titled ‘Africa’ which gave him recognition from renowned Kenyan Pan Africanist Professor Patrick Lumumba.



Dube also does comedy which he is currently doing featuring Mdawini where they talk about (amaloja) tenants.




Dube is a multi-award-winning poet, a Pan Africanist, director of ceremony, a comedian, an author and a philanthropist.




As a philanthropist, he had worked with many people especially in Matebeleland assisting those who are in need.
