COVID-19 Awareness Stamps Launched

Vice President who is also Health and Child Care minister Constantino Chiwenga availed the ZimPost Covid-19 awareness stamps aimed at spreading messages on the spread and prevention of Corona virus.

During the launch, VP Chiwenga stressed the importance of communication as the country was battling against the spread of the virus.

He said the spreading of credible information was required.

“The stamp will carry the message everywhere where the letter goes and will play a pivotal role in the provision of information on the pandemic,” said VP Chiwenga.

He said COVID-19 awareness stamp consisted of a unique artwork and carried messages people could easily interpret and understand.

VP Chiwenga applauded Zimpost supporting the health delivery sector and expressed gratitude for the innovative intervention.

“I am pleased to see the well-timed release of the covid-19 awareness stamps which raise awareness on vaccinations and other preventive measures such as washing of hands, sanitization, temperature screening and proper wearing of masks,” said VP Chiwenga.
