Byo Chiefs Officially Unveil Kelvin Madzongwe

Ambitious side Bulawayo Chiefs Friday evening officially unveiled the former FC Platinum and Bulawayo City defensive midfielder Kelvin Madzongwe (32).



The renowned social media gurus, Chiefs took to their twitter account to confirm the arrival of the lanky midfielder.




“Kelvin Madzongwe is now a Ninja. Now let the Games begin,” read the tweet.





Madzongwe was recently with the Warriors in Cameroon in the ongoing prestigious continental football competition, AFCON before they crushed out.



He becomes Chiefs’ sixth signing in the January transfer window.
Previously, the club announced five new signings before the arrival of Madzongwe.



These include experienced former Highlanders striker, Obadiah Tarumbwa, ex-Chicken Inn forward, Obriel Chirinda together with two West African players Yep Mensah from and the Senegalese Dela Akorli.



Also nicknamed Amakhosi, Chiefs sealed a deal with the Warriors fringe player Perfect Chikwende.
Chikwende who has been in the books of the Tanzanian outfit Simba SC after striking a deal from FC Platinum makes a return to Chiefs for a second dance.



Given all these signings the twitter boys look determined to challenge for the tittle in the 2021/22 league campaign.


They strengthened their squad ahead of the resumption of domestic football next month.



According to the local football governing body, the PSL the local league games will resume on 12 February.



Meanwhile, Chiefs are seated amongst the top four on the log standings after three games.



The Bulawayo based side remain unbeaten this season.
