Zanu PF Mberengwa South MP Alum Mpofu has Died.
He succumbed to kidney failure Sunday evening.
A fortnight ago, Alum moved a motion in the House of Assembly where he proposed a draconian law like the Patriotic Bill must be passed to safeguard the government from needless criticism by top opposition officials and ordinary citizens.
Last year he ordered nurses at a rural clinic in Mberengwa to return medical donations made by MDC Alliance members.
The donations were made at Gwai Clinic by Thembinkosi Dube, a son of the community who was born at the same rural health institution 44 years ago.
