Kaizer Chiefs and Zimbabwe international forward, Khama Billiat, has been nominated in the CAF Champions League best 11 team of the week.
The nomination follows after the 30-year-old highly rated attacking midfielder rescued his club during Amakhosi’s 2-2 draw away to Horoya in Guniea.
Billiat scored Chief’s equaliser in the 76th minute to help the South African giants to progress to their first CAF Champions League quarter finals stage ever.
Meanwhile, this was Khama’s first start since January 2021, after sustaining a leg injury which resulted in a broken leg bone.
CAF shared its Cream de la creme team of the week on their official tweeter account.
This saw the former Mamelodi Sundowns talisman being the only Kaizer Chiefs player to feature in the CAF stars’ team of the week.
