Jiti and Afro-fusion musician Baba Harare will be performing at Theatre in the Park this Friday the 25th of March 2022. He will be supported by top and multitalented female celebrity Mai TT. The admission is $10 and tickets are being sold at the venueâs offices in the Harare Gardens anytime between 9 AM and 6 PM.

The gates will however open at 6 PM with all Covid-19 protocols being observed. As usual, the concert is being organized by Rooftop Promotions in partnership with Dollarbill Entertainment.
In a video statement, the duo excitedly confirmed their preparedness and encouraged their fans and the general public not to miss their show. Mai TT and Baba Harare boast a successful collaboration on their song Rita which is doing well on various musical platforms including radio stations and social media spaces like YouTube.
Rooftop Promotionsâ programs and communications manager Passmore Ndlovu said that it is an honour to be hosting top musicians like Baba Harare and Mai TT. He also urged the public to book their tickets to experience what he termed âthe jiti and the cat family experienceâ.
Baba Harare is a Zimbabwean Jiti and Afro-fusion musician who was born Braveman Chizvino. The 33-year-old singer formerly played the lead guitar for Jah Prayzah and now sings with his band âThe City Vibration Bandâ.
He became very popular through his hit song “The Reason Why” in 2017. Mai TT is one of the top celebrities in the country well known for her unique personality as a socialite, comedienne and musical artist. She boasts a huge following online with more than one million followers on Facebook.
Believed and favored for her content (skits/live-streams/music), she was given an opportunity to discover her talents and received the support from her fans. She was born Felistas Murata Edwards and is often referred to as (Mura/Cat Mom/ Murandakadzi etc.)
The 36-year-old artist is a full-time businesswoman, MC, brand influencer and philanthropist running Mai Tâs Diaries Foundation; a charity initiative assisting mostly underprivileged and vulnerable children. She received numerous accolades in her name including the âTop Female Entertainment and Social Media Enterprise Business Leader of the Year Awardâ from the Womenâs Heritage Society World Organisation in 2018.
