The late Ugandan comedian Kansiime Anne’s mother has been buried with the comedian sharing a video on social media of the funeral where mourners celebrated her late mother’s life through song and dance.
“It was a joyful send off of my heroe,”wrote Anne.
Anne’s mother, Gauda Kubriyaba died early this week at the age of 66.
Kubriyaba was a Missioner at St Luke Butobere Church of Uganda.
She succumbed to Kidney failure and is survived by six children.
She was buried at her rural home in Kitanga Kashambya Rukiga District.
