The ZRP confirms that investigations are being conducted in connection with the political violence incident which occurred at Nembudziya Government High School grounds on 12/02/23. One suspect has been arrested as the investigations continue.
The ZRP is also investigating the circumstances which led to public violence during a CCC rally at Chivi open grounds in Masvingo Province on 12/02/23. More details will be released in due course.
Police in Kadoma have arrested Matthew Sibalowani (24) in connection with a case of unlawful entry into premises and theft which occurred on 12/02/23 at a plot at Sabona-bona where a television, an HD decoder, a Samsung tablet and two cellphones, among other valuables were stolen. The suspect was arrested whilst selling some of the stolen items which include, three Samsung tablets, a Samsung keyboard, a porch, two power banks, a scientific calculator, earphones and a satchel.
The suspect’s accomplice, Isaac Mulambani is on the run. Anyone with information to contact any nearest Police Station.
On 12/02/23, police arrested 96 people across the country on operation, “No to dangerous drugs and illicit substances, bringing cumulative arrests to 2 128.
Police in Kadoma are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a murder case in which Takudzwa Mukumbi (20) was found dead with multiple stab wounds all over the body at Elliot Compound , Battlefields on 12/02/23.
