On 11th a report of indecent assault was received at ZRP Chitungwiza, to the effect that five minors (3; 5; 9; 10; 10;10) were molested by a neighbour (52).
The suspect invited the minors to his room and asked them to lower their pants and dance for him (seunononga dance) and ordered them to fondle his sex organs.
Investigations are underway.
The ZRP confirms the arrest of Musaemura Ngombe (38) for poaching at Humani Range (Sabi area) on 10th using dogs and machete.
Police recovered approximately 80kgs of fresh game meat at his homestead and the suspect confessed that he had slaughtered an eland with the help of two accomplices who are still at large.
The ZRP warns members of the public against illegal mining activities across the country.
On 9th April, Police in Mazowe arrested seven suspects for criminal trespass at Jumbo Mine, Mazowe.
Meanwhile on 11th , 102 people were arrested on operation “Chikorokoza Ngachipere/ Isitsheketsha Kasiphele and No to Machete Gangs”.
Since the onset of the operation, the cumulative arrests stand at 9 021.

On 10th April, Police in Masvingo arrested five suspects and recovered a G3 firearm, ten G3 rounds, a bag with cyanide poison and four twists of dagga.
The suspects were destined for poaching at Save Valley Conservancy and were waylaid after a tip off from members of the public.
Further investigations led to the recovery of a 303 rifle, a pellet gun and some cyanide poison at Thokozani Line, Lupane.
